FOUR FINAL DESIGNS TO CHOOSE FROM
The Minnesota state quarter
commission is in the final phase of deciding the Minnesota state quarter. It is estimated
that on May 18th The governor will make the final selection.
The commission has sent in the narratives, received back four designs drawn by
the mint, made adjustments to those designs, and now has four final designs
approved by the US Mint, Citizens Coin Advisory Committee and the Commission of
Fine Arts.
to view those designs. Now it is up to Minnesota to let the commission
and the Governor know which of the four designs they like the most. There is
still time to make some minor adjustments to the designs so your comments are
welcome but for the most part the designs you see are going to be the only four
that are eligible to be on our new state quarter due out in March of 2005.
